The Midnight Pass Photographic Collection contains photographic prints, film negatives, and aerial overlays documenting Midnight Pass between 1960 and 1985. Likely assembled by Steven Sauers, former Coastal Zone Manager for Sarasota County Government, the images capture aerial and ground-level views of the pass, coastal erosion patterns, and surrounding barrier island environments prior to and following its 1983 closure.
