Chidsey Library Collection
The collection consists of photographs and other scrapbook materials relating to the construction of the Chidsey Library in Sarasota. The building was designed by Sarasota School architect Frank Martin and constructed by Jerry Wesley Harvey, Sr. The Junior Chamber of Commerce was essential to the project to build the new library.

38 black and white and color photographs, including photographs depicting the efforts to re-open Midnight Pass, Sarasota bayfront, views of the Ringling Causeway and the Orange Blossom Hotel. This collection also contains two plat maps of Petrecca Terrace subdivision.
