Friends of the JOMAR Society Records
Records provide insight into the society’s efforts to return the Jomar rail car to Sarasota and have it saved and restored. Materials include the minutes of the society, incoming and outgoing correspondence, clippings, banking records, article of incorporation, photocopies of the Pullman Company drawings of the rail car, tax records, photographs and moving images of the Jomar move.
Friends of the Libraries of Sarasota County Records
This scrapbook contains news clippings from 1958 to 1966 discussing the Sarasota, Venice and Englewood libraries. These clippings report on fundraising, gifts and general activities of the Friends groups and the libraries themselves.

General Architectural Drawing Collection
This collection consists of drawings, schematics, plans, renderings, and other large-format architectural records documenting the construction of buildings throughout Sarasota County. The records in this collection were acquired by the History Center from a variety of sources over a long period of time.
General Photographic Collection
This collection consists of photographs and postcards acquired by the Sarasota County History Center and its predecessor agencies from a variety of sources since the 1950s. The images cover a wide range of subjects from communities across the county and a few from the surrounding region.

George Luzier Collection
The collection contains records relating to all phases of George Luzier's career, including sketches, schematics, and plans for many of his boats, photographs of the boats, correspondence with customers and colleagues in the boatbuilding industry, industry publications, personal correspondence and documents from his military career and civic involvements in Sarasota, and other materials.
