Scope and Contents
Photographs by W. Earl Burnell, collected by Ralph Hunter and donated to the History Center by the Longboat Key Historical Society. Subjects include bird's eye views of downtown Sarasota and the bay front, the Ringling Museum of Art and the Ringling residence (Ca' d' Zan), the home and yacht of Karl and Madeira Bickel, the John Ringling Hotel, the Sarasota Sailing Squadron regatta (1940s), Stump Pass, the town of Osprey, and aerial photos of Manasota Key.

This collection is stored offsite in a remote storage facility. Materials from the collection can be brought to the Sarasota County History Center for viewing upon request.
