Scope and Contents

Printed map of Venice, Florida designed by city planner John Nolen and published by the Venice Company through the Dodd Printing Company in Fort Madison, Iowa. The map shows the lot and block numbers from John Nolen's original plan for Venice, as well as planned features for the town, such as beaches, a waterfront music venue, a bath house, hotels, parks, playgrounds, schools, and a casino. Sections depicted: 12-39S-18E, 13-39S-18E, 07-39S-19E, 18-39S-19E.
